We have been in Littlehampton, in the Mt Barker District Council area, for 11 years. The majority of our clients are from the local area, although many are located all around the Adelaide area. We even have one client that comes from Cooper Pedy for his dog’s heart treatment!
We offer a wide range of services including emergency medical and surgical care. If your pet becomes acutely ill or is injured, we have a state of the art blood testing machine and X-ray equipment that can help our staff to correctly assess your cats or dog’s medical status and treat them in minutes. Dr. Catherine Motter, the owner and sole veterinarian of the practice has thirty years of experience in diagnosing and treating serious medical conditions that can affect cats and dogs. You love your pet and it can be very unsettling to see a different vet each time your pet needs medical attention.
The Littlehampton Veterinary Clinic focuses on preventive care; the key to keeping your pet healthy is good nutrition. Most pet foods sold at grocery stores use poultry or other animal by products as their protein component of the diet, this literally means chicken beaks, feathers and feet, hooves from sheep and cattle, or remnants from the slaughter house floor. We will teach you on your first visit to the clinic, thirty minutes at no additional charge, how you can feed you pet a healthy diet without it costing a mint. Catherine is a true animal lover and has devoted her life to her clients and their pets.
Our hospital is equipped with the latest Biochemistry blood analyser, X-Ray facilities, IV fluid pumps and special care by our highly trained and passionate nurses. Please check out the ‘’Services’’ tab for more information on what we can do for you and your pet.
The staff at the Littlehampton Veterinary is knowledgeable and friendly, and are always willing to answer questions, provide advice and make you feel at ease.
We hope you feel welcome in our clinic, and we will do our best to make your pets feel the same way!
Our goal here is to practice the highest quality of veterinary medicine at a fair price, and to provide your pets with the care, love and attention they deserve. You and your pets comfort is our highest priority, and we always take every opportunity to make you feel welcome, whether you are new to us or we have seen you before.
We believe that every animal deserves the best care possible, and we strive every day to make the animals in our care feel comfortable and at ease. Our main focus is animal wellbeing, and their needs always come first.
Our caring staff are always here to answer any questions you have, and provide you with specific advice on your pets. We know how stressful it can be when your furry family member is unwell, so we try our best to give you clear, direct information on how we can help.
